Hello hello,

Thanks for being here! It's been a while since I last took the time to make a blog post. I am going to try my best and make it a habit to do a "Blog Tuesday" to showcase each of my amazing couples this year! I hate admitting it but last year I didn't blog any of my weddings and that makes me very sad, so I may also sneak some 2021 AND 2020 couples in this years blogs!

A lot has gone on since 2020 - Covid (who can ever forget), the passing of my father, and 9 months later leaving my full time job and pursuing this wonderful business that I started from scratch in 2017. Leaving my M-F job and taking that leap of faith, truly has been one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. This year will be one for the books and my busiest year yet! In total I have 30 weddings (three of which are being photographed by my lovely associate Cyndy - who I will introduce you all to at another time). That is double the amount I had in 2021 (and a big chunk of those were postponements from 2020). I am so unbelievably excited for this wedding season and all that it has in store! I have grown a lot in my aesthetic, style, editing, you name it. I'm pumped to be so busy and constantly photographing straight through the rest of the year!

Now onto the main event of this post - Mr. & Mrs. Sistare!

These two love birds kicked off my 2022 wedding season on May 28th at Burke Mt. Hotel & Conference Center in East Burke, Vermont! Alyshia was nothing short of sweet and kind, and she did a great job making her vision come to life! The bridesmaids wore dusty sage, full length dresses in different styles, while the groomsmen were in light grey and Dylan in a charcoal grey. I absolutely loved Alyshia's hair - I'm a sucker for braids and a long ponytail! And her dress was also stunning and looked like it was made for her!

It started out as a rainy, dreary May day and they did have to have their ceremony inside the hotel, but luckily the rain stopped and we were able to make it to the top of the mountain for the awesome view and to take their portraits and group bridal party photos! Back down the mountain we went for the reception where they had a yummy dinner, and a lot of dancing. Even Dylan's grandmother busted out moves and was so happy to be celebrating her grandson's wedding!

I hope you all enjoy and I will see you next Tuesday!
